An iPad Magazine for Family Travel?

So, I've been a little silent for a while.  Not because I've fallen off the face of the planet or had my laptop destroyed by my children.  The latter is certainly possible with 5 kids and one who thinks he's Batman one minute, Spiderman another and then puts on an American themed bandana and runs around saying he's Captain America!

No…I've actually been quite busy with a brand new project I think you will enjoy.  It's a brand new magazine on iPad's Newsstand called Real Family Travel Magazine.

The whole idea behind the magazine is to bring real stories of real vacations or travels from REAL families to inspire you to follow your dreams and take that trip!

When we first heard about the idea of long term family travel, it was through a family of 3 called SoulTravelers3.  They were wintering in Southern Spain and, truth be told, I was more than a little jealous.  I mean, who wouldn't want to live in a white washed village in Spain?  But the logistics of 3 people compared to 7 are, well, not exactly the same.

Then I virtually met the Millers of EdventureProject.com.  They're a family of 6 and that is when I realized that it IS possible to travel, even with a big family.

On August 7th, we mark our 1st Anniversary of travel and I'm just SO excited to be able to bring to light stories of families of all shapes, sizes and budgets through Real Family Travel.

Each issue is just $2.99 or $1.99 if you subscribe.  If you do check it out, I'd REALLY appreciate a rating and review.

So…that is what I've been up to.  Well, we did spend a neat day exploring a nearby town, including taking a short tour on a double decker bus.  (And I thought those were only in England!)  I'll have to carve out some moments soon to tell you more about it.  But for now, go check out the magazine!  It's got stories about Central Mexico, Sea World Australia, packing for Asia, Barcelona, Washington, DC, the Sahara Desert, and the feature story is about an AMAZING family who biked, like on bicycles, the entire Panamerican Highway.  Crazy and inspiring!

Be sure to check it out on Newsstand now:  Real Family Travel Magazine

    Hello family,
I have been enjoying all your posts!   What an adventure!  I am becoming excited about the possibilities and I appreciate your efforts!  Do we have to have an ipad to view the magazine?  What a great idea. Seems like the future of magazines and lots more efficient to produce!
I have included our school website for your son's enjoyment. He sounds like some of my students!
